He was born in Naples on 15 August , 1971

He is Son of Grazia Bottiglieri (President and CEO of Rizzo-Bottiglieri-De Carlini Armatori  S.p.A.) and of Roberto Rizzo.

Giuseppe Mauro Rizzo works in his family company since mid 90ties and he is a shareholder  of the same company.

 

Since he entered the company he has been developing the trading and chartering business of the  group along with fleet newbuilding program. Today Rizzo-Bottiglieri-De Carlini Armatori S.p.A. Today Rizzo-Bottiglieri-De Carlini Armatori S.p.A. is one of the most active Dry-Bulk and Tankers Owners in the Market.

Since 2009 GMR has been leading an intensive fleet expansion plan of his company by the
acquisition of more than 20 newbuildings built in the major Japanese and Chinese shipyards such as  Tsuneishi, Hudong, SWS and Jinhae.

 

The company today owns and operate a large fleet consisting of 17 owned modern Capesize,  Postpanamax and Panamax Bulk Carriers and Aframax Crude and Oil Product Tankers.
Rizzo-Bottiglieri-De Carlini Armatori S.p.A handle a consistent amount of contracts with major  worldwide clients.

RIZZO-BOTTIGLIERI-DE CARLINI ARMATORI S.p.A. is a shipowning company founding its  roots in a family tradition since 1850 and today it is owned from the Rizzo-Bottiglieri and De Carlini-Bottiglieri Families.
