Dopo tre anni di commissariamento del porto di Napoli arriva Pietro Spirito alla presidenza dell’Autorità Portuale del mar Tirreno centrale.

PIETRO SPIRITO

Pietro Spirito graduated from the University of Naples “Federico II” and enrolled the Unioncamere Master on Management of Entreprises.

He started working at the Research Department of Montedison, and contributed in the foundation of the “Guglielmo Tagliacarne” Institute for studies on Small and Medium Enterprises.

He was subsequently seconded by Unioncamere at the Ministry of Industry.

He was a member of the Economic Research Department of the Consob, and the Assistant to the President.

In 1988 he was the Assistant to the Special Manager Mario Schimberni at the State Railways.

Until 2007, for nearly twenty years, he hold several key positions in the process of renovation of the national railway system.

He was the Director General of the Telethon Fondation and Committee. Subsequently, he was the General Manager and at a later stage the Chairman of the Bologna freight logistic centre.

Pietro Spririto has hold several key positions in Atac (2011 – 2015).

In 2016 he was the Program Manager on behalf of Invitalia for the reclamation and urban regeneration of Bagnoli.

Since December 5, 2016 he is the Chairman of the Central Tyrrhenian port system.

He is the Assistant Professor of Transport Economics at the University of “Tor Vergata”.
